In order to name your blog, you have to consider how other people name their blogs. They adopt their pet’s name (tinker, booboo, spot), their favorite hobby (baker, woodworker, gardeningISfun) , or perhaps a special flower (rosesRred); maybe even a religious conviction. I can just hear the melodic sounds playing in the background.
None of these appealed to me and I definitely didn’t want to use my real name…I may be writing about someone I know! Then I thought, what about a nickname! Perhaps I could reach into the historical archives of long, long ago (my childhood) and conjure up my nickname.
Growing up I was a prim and proper princess and my older brothers decided to nickname me Gooch. This made me so mad since princesses were not called Gooch. “What does that mean?” I’d asked. They didn’t know. They just knew it drove their younger sister crazy. The more I asked, the more they said it. I stopped asking but the nickname stuck. So for whatever reason, I was always known as Gooch. Soon, Gooch became an endearing word to me. After all, it couldn’t be anything “bad”. It must be good. My brothers loved me so much that they gave me a special name.
As I pondered the nickname Gooch, I decided I had better google Gooch first. After all, everything is googled these days. I found the definition in the Urban dictionary.
Gooch, A.K.A. "grundle" is the area that attaches ones sac to ones a**-hole.
Enough said. I need a blog name...
well twisted soul...you are brave for posting Gooch!! I like your blog!! I will have to log on in the morning for more interesting scenarios...
